Antico Frantoio Trampolini manages about 15,000 olive trees in Umbria, in order to ensure complete traceability of the supply chain and ensure that each bottle of our Extra Virgin olive oil is produced with olives from our land.
Our olive groves are located in the hills close to the city of Perugia, at an altitude between 400 and 500 meters above sea level. The clayey soil typical of our hills and perfect exposure to the sun favour the growth and vigour of the trees.
Part of the cultural and landscape heritage of Umbria, these centuries-old olive trees are predominantly of the Dolce Agogia cultivar, the remainder being made up of the Leccino, Frantoio and Moraiolo cultivars.
The uniquely Umbrian flavours and aromas of their fruit may be found in our range of freshly pressed Extra Virgin olive oils: “Generoso” (Generous), “Armonioso” (Harmonious), “Biologico” (Organic) and “Assoluti d’Italia” (Absolute Italy).
